Jack Martin
Jack Martin, 49, was from Windsor, Vermont. The Vermont Department of Corrections said staff at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility in Rutland called emergency medical services after he reported difficulty sitting upright in his cell, and he was admitted to Rutland Regional Medical Center on Friday. He died there on Sunday afternoon, December 11, 2022. The DOC said the circumstances are not considered suspicious at this time and is conducting administrative and medical reviews, while the Vermont State Police and the Defender General's Prisoners' Rights Office are also investigating.
