Jack Hudson, 59, served in the Marine Corps before joining the Yuma County Sheriff's Office in 1992. He died on October 10, 2017, in the health unit at the Lewis prison complex in Buckeye, Arizona, where he was held. The Arizona Department of Corrections said he died of natural causes.
