Jack Farmer Jr. died on July 23, 2023, while held in the Greene County Jail in Indiana. Indiana State Police say he hanged himself with a telephone cord during recreation time in the jail's I pod, and that camera footage shows the incident. Officers reportedly responded about twenty minutes later. His stepmother Mary and sister Tiffany have spoken publicly about his death, saying he was failed by the system and should not have been left unsupervised.
