J.C.X. Simon, 69, was held at San Quentin prison in California. According to California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials, he was found unresponsive in his cell and pronounced dead shortly before midnight on Thursday, March 12, 2015. The officials said the cause of death was unknown pending an autopsy.
