Israel Hinojosa
Israel Hinojosa, 33, of San Diego, died on October 10, 2025, while held at the Duval County jail in Texas. Sheriff Romeo Ramirez said he hanged himself in his isolation cell using clothing tied to a metal door handle. He was taken to a hospital in Alice, where he was pronounced dead. The Texas Rangers are investigating the death.
