Isom Cooper
Isom Cooper, 62, died on March 2, 2026, while held at Federal Correctional Institution Hazelton, a federal prison in Preston County, West Virginia. The Federal Bureau of Prisons said he was found unresponsive, and that staff began life-saving efforts before EMS personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. The FBI was notified of the death. The Bureau of Prisons has not given a cause or manner of death.
