Isaiah Sharp
Isaiah Sharp, 21, died on March 14, 2021, at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs, Nevada, where he was in the custody of the Nevada Department of Corrections. The Clark County coroner's office ruled his death a homicide caused by stab wounds, and the department describes it as an apparent homicide, with a cellmate detained on suspicion. His grandparents, Nicholas and Lauren Snider, sued the department, and the lawsuit says prison staff knew the cellmate had threatened anyone placed with him and still housed Isaiah there. Isaiah had worked for the Nevada Division of Forestry fighting wildfires while at the Tonopah Conservation Camp.
