Isaac Starke
Isaac Starke, 52, died on January 6, 2019, at Broad River Correctional Institution in Richland County, South Carolina, where he was held. He was found in his cell after an incident at the prison. The Richland County Coroner, Gary Watts, said he died of asphyxiation from ligature strangulation, and described the death as suspicious and not natural. The coroner's office, the South Carolina Department of Corrections and the State Law Enforcement Division are investigating, and an autopsy was scheduled for the following Monday.
