Hugo Tepanca
Correctional officers at Georgia State Prison in Reidsville found Hugo Tepanca unresponsive in his cell at about 4:25 a.m. on September 11, 2018. The Georgia Department of Corrections said his death is being investigated as an apparent suicide, and it said medical staff gave him CPR before the medical director pronounced him dead at 4:45 a.m. The department's account of the death is the only one available.
