Holly Granger, 31, was found dead inside the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on September 22, 2022. The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office asked the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office to investigate her death. Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Valerie Ponseti said foul play is not suspected and that an investigation will determine the circumstances. No cause or manner of death has been announced.
