Hoffman

Hoffman was taken from a jail in Nebraska City, Nebraska, by a mob and lynched at 10 o'clock one morning in January 1887, according to a telegram reported in the New-York Tribune. The dispatch, datelined Atchison, Kansas, gives no first name for him.
