Herman Titus
Herman Titus Jr., 21, died on June 19, 2017, while held at the Travis County Jail in Travis County, Texas. He was found in critical condition in his cell and taken by EMS to South Austin Hospital, where he died shortly after arrival. The Travis County Sheriff's Office said evidence so far did not suggest foul play, asked the Texas Rangers to investigate, and said its internal units were also looking into the death. The Travis County Medical Examiner's Office had not yet determined the cause and manner of death. A Texas Attorney General custodial death report lists medical neglect as the cause.
