Herbert Wayne Doss
Herbert Wayne Doss, 48, of Crab Orchard, died on March 3, 2023, while held at Southern Regional Jail in Raleigh County, West Virginia, according to his obituary as cited by WCHS. Raleigh County Prosecutor Benjamin Hatfield said foul play does not appear to be involved, and the death is still under investigation. The Poor People's Campaign says there have been 14 deaths at the jail over the past year and has called for a federal investigation.
