Henry Sanchez, 62, was held at the Bent County Correctional Facility in Colorado, operated by the Colorado Department of Corrections. He was taken to UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs on December 6, 2020, with COVID-19 symptoms, and died there on December 23, 2020. The Department of Corrections declined to say whether he tested positive, though a state outbreak database indicates that he did.
