Henry M. McSeed

Henry M. McSeed was hanged on May 9, 1879, at Appling in Columbia County, Georgia, in a judicial execution carried out alongside another man. According to The Somerset Herald, published May 14, 1879, McSeed spoke from the gallows in a rambling manner, the crowd was much affected, and he met death calmly.
