Henry Butson
Henry Butson, 74, of St. Johnsbury, died at Springfield Hospital on the morning of Sunday, January 1, 2023. He had been in the infirmary at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield since early December 2022, and he had difficulty breathing and other medical problems before an ambulance took him to the hospital. He was pronounced dead shortly after 9 a.m. The Vermont State Police said they do not suspect foul play, and an autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death.
