Hector Jimenez
Hector Jimenez, 35, was held at Kern Valley State Prison in California. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said he was allegedly attacked and killed by two other incarcerated people in a day room on June 24, 2022, and that he was pronounced dead after being taken to a treatment area. Officers recovered a weapon made by people in custody, and the department is investigating the death as a homicide.
