30 years old · died June 13, 2021 · Central New Mexico Correctional Facility, Valencia County, New Mexico

Hector Cuevas, 30, was a tree-cutter and landscaper from Farmington who married his high school sweetheart and had three children; his father described him as a good-hearted and hardworking man. He was found hanging in his cell at the Central New Mexico Correctional Facility near Los Lunas on June 13, 2021, and was pronounced dead. The Corrections Department says he was not on suicide watch and that the death is under investigation.
