Heather M. Ruiz, 52, died at the Pueblo County Jail in Pueblo, Colorado, on April 9, 2026. The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office said she was found unresponsive in her housing area on Thursday afternoon and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
