Heath
According to an 1899 Arizona Republican history of the Copper Queen mining camp, a man named Heath was taken from a jail and lynched by a mob in the years after the December 1883 holdup of Goldwater's store. The account is brief and the text is garbled in places. Heath was held in a jail at the time, and a mob took him and killed him, but the passage does not say when this happened or who took part. Whether jail officers resisted, gave up the keys, or handed him over is not addressed in this account.
Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. A historical account in a Copper Queen mining camp history says a mob took Heath from a jail and lynched him.
