Harold Carpenter
Harold Carpenter was executed by hanging at the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla on April 15, 1932. A HistoryLink essay by David Wilma, reported by KIRO 7 News in 2018, gives his age as 35, while the state Department of Corrections' list of persons executed gives it as 31. The essay says he was put to death alongside a younger co-defendant in what it describes as the first double execution in state history, and that he walked to the gallows without assistance with witnesses present. The Department of Corrections lists the death as an execution by the State of Washington.
