Harold Alexander Jr.
Harold Alexander Jr., a 62-year-old man, died on July 10, 2025 while held at the Harris County Jail in Houston. The sheriff's office said detention officers found him unresponsive on his mattress, and he was pronounced dead just after 10:30 p.m. The cause of death has not been confirmed, and the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is performing an autopsy. The sheriff's office said it is investigating whether all policies and procedures were followed, and the Texas Rangers are also investigating the death.
