Hans Paul Fastre, 57, died on the evening of Friday, August 29, 2025, after a medical emergency at the Weber County Jail in Ogden, Utah. The Weber County Sheriff's Office said jail deputies and medical staff tried to save him before he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office has not released the nature of the medical emergency. The Weber County Attorney's Office is investigating his death.
