Hakiem Reid
Hakiem Reid died on January 7, 2022, while being held at the Chatham County detention center in Georgia. According to the Chatham County sheriff's office, an officer found him unresponsive in his cell during a routine check. He was pronounced dead at a hospital after medical staff tried lifesaving measures. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death, and the cause and manner have not been determined.
