Gregory Penn
Gregory Penn, 68, died on December 28, 2025, while receiving palliative care in the infirmary of Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield, Vermont, where he had been held. He had been diagnosed with a terminal illness that fall. The Vermont Chief Medical Examiner's Office attributed his death to complications of an ongoing medical issue and classified the manner as natural. The Vermont State Police assigned a detective to the death, who found it did not appear suspicious. He was later buried in the Department of Corrections plot at Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor.
