Gregory Medley
Gregory Medley, 38, died at the Jefferson City Correctional Center in Missouri in November 2015. Cole County prosecutors said he died of a heroin overdose and that another person held at the prison had supplied the drug, a claim that person pleaded guilty to in March 2019. The Missouri Department of Corrections announced his death at the facility on a Monday afternoon, said an autopsy was scheduled, and said it did not suspect foul play. Medley's death was listed as pending an autopsy, with the cause and manner not yet determined by the department.
