Gregory Leverett Jr.
Gregory Leverett Jr., 30, was held at the Hamilton County Jail in Tennessee when, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, other people held there attacked him on Sept. 26, 2023. The Sheriff's Office described the attack as deliberate and planned. He was taken to a hospital and released from the jail because of the seriousness of his injuries, and he died on Oct. 4, 2023.
