Gregory Lane Lynds, 42, of Antioch, died on October 17, 2020, while held at the West County Detention Facility in Richmond, Contra Costa County, California. The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office said he was found in a cell with a bedsheet wrapped around his neck, and that he received emergency medical care but died at the jail. A coroner's jury ruled the death a suicide, according to the sheriff's office.
