Gregory Bennett
Gregory Bennett, 35, was held at the Snohomish County Jail in Washington. The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his cell on a Friday afternoon in March 2021, that a corrections deputy called a medical emergency and began lifesaving efforts, and that he died at a hospital the following day. The Daily Herald, in a later listing of deaths at the jail, dates his death to March 5, 2021 and describes it as a suicide in his cell. The sources differ on the date of death, and the sheriff's office gave no cause of death in the account reported by KATU.
