Greg Chavez

Greg Chavez, 53, was held at the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem, where he died of COVID-19 on May 20, 2020. The Oregon Department of Corrections announced the death at the time without releasing his name. Street Roots later reported him as one of 42 people held in Oregon state prisons who died of the virus.
