Glenn Richard Brown Jr.
Glenn Richard Brown Jr., 35, died at Broad River Correctional Institution in Richland County, South Carolina, in late August 2026. According to WIS News 10, he was found unresponsive in his cell, which he did not share with a cellmate, on a Wednesday. The South Carolina Department of Corrections suspects suicide, and the State Law Enforcement Division, the Richland County Coroner and the corrections Inspector General's office are investigating, with an autopsy to be performed. The reports say the prison has had another death under the same investigation, and that no connection between the two deaths has been found.
