Glenn Axworthy
Glenn Axworthy, 66, of San Rafael, died on June 12, 2026, while held at the Marin County Jail. The sheriff's office said a deputy found him in need of care alone in his cell, and that jail staff and San Rafael Fire Department medics tried to save him before he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after noon. The death is under review by the Novato Police Department and the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office coroner's division, and autopsy results were pending. No cause or manner of death has been established.
