Geronimo Parra
Geronimo Parra was hanged in El Paso, Texas, in January 1900. A report in The Scranton Chronicle in July 1901 stated that Parra had since been found innocent, a claim attributed to that paper and not confirmed by other sources here. This later finding of innocence is the one objection recorded for this execution.
Cause of death, as reported: Executed by the state. A July 1901 newspaper report said Parra had later been found innocent.
