Gerald Haynes, 38, died at the Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri, on Friday, January 10, 2025, according to a release from the Missouri Department of Corrections. The department said he was pronounced dead that afternoon while he was in its custody at the prison. The department said an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause of death. The cause and manner of his death have not yet been reported.
