George William Schuessler
George William Schuessler, 37, was held at the Iron County Correctional Facility in Utah. Officials said he was found alone and unresponsive in his cell on Thursday, May 25, 2023, and that medical staff and deputies performed life-saving efforts before he was flown to St. George Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on May 28. A critical incident task force for Iron, Garfield, Beaver and Kane counties is investigating, and officials said no foul play is suspected. The cause and manner of his death have not been determined in the accounts reviewed.
