George Hartley
George Hartley was the son of Ed Hartley. According to press reports from Camden, at about midnight on October 19, 1922, a mob of twenty to fifty men with blackened faces took George from the Camden jail in Tennessee. The mob overpowered Sheriff Flowers, marched George to a vacant lot about two hundred yards from the jail, and shot him to death alongside his father.
