George E. Graham
George E. Graham was held in the jail in Springfield, Missouri. Early on Tuesday, April 27, 1886, a mob took him from the jail and hanged him. One account says a woman linked to him knew of the danger and did not tell the sheriff.
Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. A mob took Graham from the Springfield, Missouri, jail and killed him; accounts do not say how the mob got in or whether jailers resisted.
