Geneva Daniels
Geneva Daniels, 57, died on April 19, 2025, while held at the Buncombe County Detention Center in Asheville, North Carolina. The North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's autopsy found fentanyl toxicity and classed the death as accidental. Staff found her unresponsive on her cell cot at a morning head count, and she was taken to Mission Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
