Died in prison
Gavin Dellinger
Gavin Dellinger, 28, died on December 15, 2025, while held at the Morgan County Correctional Complex in Tennessee. The Morgan County Medical Examiner, Dr. Thomas Boduch, has said his death was a homicide and that he was allegedly killed by another person held at the prison. The same period saw a separate homicide at the prison, in which a correctional officer was killed. The state prison system did not respond to questions about safety at the facility.
