Gary Nin Austin, 71, died at the Cherokee County Detention Center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The state Medical Examiner determined that he died from complications of lung disease. Jail staff found him unresponsive in his cell, and emergency responders pronounced him dead on the scene.
