Died in prison
Gary Long
Gary Long, 35, was held at East Mississippi Correctional Facility, a privately run state prison, when he died there. Staff at the facility, which is operated by Management & Training Corporation, found him unresponsive on a floor, and the company said staff performed CPR until paramedics arrived and he was pronounced dead at the prison. The company said no foul play was suspected and that an autopsy would be performed to determine the cause of death.
