Frederick James Ashley
Frederick James Ashley, 47, died on January 5, 2023, at the United States Penitentiary Florence ADMAX, a federal prison where he was held. The Bureau of Prisons said he was found unresponsive shortly after midnight, and that staff began lifesaving measures and requested emergency medical services before he was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Bureau of Prisons said the FBI was notified and that no staff or other people were injured. No cause or manner of death has been given by the agency.
