Frederick Hengl
Frederick Hengl was 69. According to his lawyer, he quit his job in February 2012 to care for his wife full time. His lawyer said he lost the will to live after her death. Hengl died of prostate cancer in the medical unit of the San Diego Central Jail, where he was held at the time. The county Medical Examiner's Office reported the cause of death, and officials announced it in early October 2013.
