Frederic Ferguson, 24, died in July 2021 while held at the Marion County Jail in Oregon. Marion County prosecutors said he died of an apparent overdose on oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl, which he took in his cell. Prosecutors also said such counterfeit pills were being distributed throughout his jail pod.
