Freddie Gray
Freddie Gray died while in the custody of Baltimore police. Six officers have been charged in connection with the death, and the U.S. Department of Justice is also investigating the case. Sgt. Alicia White's lawyers say she had only brief contact with Gray and never touched him, and they criticize the prosecution. The Vanguard Justice Society, a group that advocates for minority police officers, has publicly backed White.
