Fred O’Neal III
Fred O'Neal III, 73, was held at Delaware Psychiatric Hospital in New Castle, Delaware. Delaware State Police said that on April 19, 2026, he was involved in a physical altercation with another person at the facility and was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries, where he later died. The State Police Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating, and the cause and manner of his death are pending an autopsy.
