Fred Moore
Fred Moore, who was Black, was held in the county jail at Senatobia, Mississippi. Shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 1898, a mob of about 50 people broke into the jail and took Fred Moore from custody. The mob shot Fred Moore to death.
