Fred Archuleta
Fred Archuleta, 53, was held at Calipatria State Prison in California. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said that on March 17, 2017, two other people held there attacked him in the prison yard with prison-made weapons, and that he was stabbed. The department said he was pronounced dead at 2:15 p.m. It said the two attackers were placed in administrative segregation while the incident is investigated.
