Frazier Glenn Miller Jr., 80, died on May 3, 2021, at the El Dorado Correctional Facility in Kansas, where he was held. The Kansas Department of Corrections, through spokeswoman Carol Pitts, said he appeared to have died of natural causes and that an autopsy would be performed to confirm the cause. A doctor had earlier testified that he had chronic emphysema and other illnesses. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation later said it would not investigate, saying he was receiving regular medical care and his death was expected.
