Frank Tocci
Frank Tocci, 28, died on July 12, 2019, at the Nevada Southern Detention Center in Pahrump, a privately run facility that holds people awaiting trial for federal agencies. The Nye County Sheriff's Office said he was taken to an outside hospital, where he was pronounced dead, and it opened a homicide investigation with the FBI and the Marshals Service. CoreCivic, which runs the facility, said his death followed an incident in a secured cell. His brother, Shawn Tocci, said the family was given little information, has been unable to reach the facility for answers, and that the death fell on what would have been their mother's birthday weekend.
